If you guys are looking for the best SNES emulators for Windows or Mac or even Android, then this is the perfect place for you people. Etrian Odyssey.I'm not quite sold on that yet.We want to play 90’s game that was based on SNES console in our windows pc that is why I have created a list of top 10 best SNES emulators for Windows. Fire Emblem is probably the best example, after playing through the GBA version, there was no doubt about getting Awakening. In most cases, it's turned into a demo system where I can assess whether or not I'm interested in a game enough to buy its successors on 3Ds. All in all, the whole flashcart thing has been a bit of a curse in that it's too easy to download a rom and play for 5 minutes before rushing off to some other rom for 5 minutes and then rushing off to some get the idea. GBATemp has some good lists as far as compatibility issues for the various emulators running on DSTWO, if you haven't already seen those. Fire Emblem runs fine on the GBA emulator for DSTWO, although I wish that it scaled the screen a bit larger to use the extra space (you do get used to it). I've had rotten luck with any SNES emulation, but most of the games I've been interested in for nostalgia were NES games anyway. CATSFC does not offer these options.Īnyways, just thought I would post my experiences so far, I'm kind of hoping I missed something with CATSFC (I used version 1.20), because I think the only SNES gaming I'll be playing is on SNEmulDS. SNEmulDS also has the advantage of tweaking with HUD positioning and altering the aspect ratio a bit to ensure part of the game isn't cut off at the top or bottom. I also had some trouble with games freezing after loading from a save-state, but loading from an in-game save worked fine. Games that are compatible may require a bit of tweaking with the sprites/layering settings. So I tried SNEmulDS 0.6, which does have a lot of compatibility issues and graphics issues, but I found the gameplay much much more smooth. Yes it has great compatibility, but for me the gameplay was just way too choppy. I personally find it nearly unplayable, due to poor framerates and input-lag. I saw a lot of posts claiming CATSFC is the best SNES emulation will get on the DS/3DS. I am using a SuperCard DSTWO with a 3DS XLįirst off, I understand mobile emulation is best done with a PSP comparatively, but I love the 3DS and would rather stick with just 1 system. Just thought I would add my experiences with SNES emulation so far, as they seem to be a bit different from what boards/forums were recommending.
